Joanna Lumley and the Gurkhas

Joanna Lumley was outside Parliament today campaigning against the government’s new rules on Gurkhas settling in the UK.  Lumley, whose fathers life was saved by a Gurkha serving in the British Army, has campaigned for Gurkhas rights for a long time.   She said today’s announcement made her ashamed of the government.
