I mentioned yesterday that in 2008 I’d photographed quite a lot of protests in London. Well this was all part of a little photography project of mine – A City of Protests. I didn’t set out to photograph all these protests, it just sort of happened, probably as a result of my interest in photojournalism. But over the year I photographed more than 20 separate protests across the city and decided that at the end of the year I would put them all together in a book.
Well last week I did just that. The book is currently being published by Blurb (a great place for photo books, so much better quality than places like photobox) and should be in my hands next week. The book is of course now also available to purchase on the Blurb website. If you follow the link above you’ll be able to get a little preview.

I looked at the preview for your book. And it looks very interesting. Also, if you play Coldplay “Life in Technicolor” while looking at the pictures it’s very fitting.
I’d buy it but I don’t have the money to do all that with the shipping to America and everything.
